Demonstrations across U.S. express solidarity with Wisconsin protesters

The massive protests in Wisconsin's capital prompted by Gov. Scott Walker's bill to cut state employees' benefits and eliminate most of their union bargaining rights has sparked smaller demonstrations across the country.

Demonstrators hold signs during a rally held by the progressive group MoveOn.org in the District's Dupont Circle neighborhood in support of Wisconsin unions. MoveOn.org said it would hold "Save the American Dream" rallies in all 50 states. The one in the District drew hundreds of people Saturday.
