Same Subjects, Different Expertise

Differences in on-level and honors classes can depend on a variety of factors, including subject, teacher
expertise and a student's ambitions. The differences in a history course, for example, may seem less
dramatic than in a math class. The following are examples in Montgomery County public schools'
instructional guide and in two world history textbooks.
