D.C. School Vouchers

The D.C. voucher program provides low-income District children with federal grants of up to $7,500 each for tuition and other educational expenses at private or religious schools. Voucher recipients are selected by lottery. The first group of scholarship winners enrolled at their schools in the fall, and additional scholarships were awarded this spring for use this fall.
