At least eight hospitals in the Washington area say they reprocess medical devices designated for a single use: the National Naval Medical Center and Suburban Hospital Healthcare System in Bethesda, four Northern Virginia hospitals in the Inova Health System, and George Washington University Hospital and Greater Southeast Community Hospital in the District.
