Air Force Gen. Michael V. Hayden, President Bush's pick for CIA chief, will face his Senate confirmation hearing today. Democratic and Republican lawmakers have already expressed concern about appointing an active-duty officer to the position. If confirmed, Hayden will be the second member of the military to hold the position since the Truman administration.
