City Crime

D.C. Mayor Anthony A. Williams says he wants to reduce violent crime by 50 percent within 30 days. Here's a look at the city's violent crime numbers - this year versus last. Overall, the numbers of violent crimes were up by 8 percent over last year's totals at this time.
