Metro Proposes New Fares, Service Reductions
Metro is recommending a new fare policy, with the greatest increases affecting Metrorail trips made in the downtown core during rush hours. By increasing fees at these times, Metro hopes to encourage travel outside the city core and during off-peak hours. Here's a look at proposals for the fiscal 2008 spending plan.
