The Artwalk Argument

For almost two years, art organizers have been developing a proposal to temporarily install large-scale works of art around Annapolis. Of the project's six proposed sites, the Sean Donlon parking lot, pictured below, has been the most contentiously argued. The art community believes photographs on the walls, shown here on a Photoshop rendering from the Artwalk group, will beautify the city. Preservationists say the walls tell a rich story and shouldn¿t be covered.
