Finding the Enemy in Diyala
In Diyala, one of the most violent provinces in Iraq, U.S. forces have been fighting insurgents who are well trained and using ever more sophisticated equipment. The insurgents include fighters affiliated with the group al-Qaeda in Iraq, some from abroad, and members of other militant Sunni groups.
