Public Opinion on the Troop Buildup

A majority believes the Petraeus report will try to make the situation in Iraq look better than it really is. While most think the United States is not making progress there and give the troop buildup negative reviews, more are now optimistic about future success despite limited confi- dence in the Iraqi government to meet its commitments.
