Historically, prostitution has been a problem in the 3rd Police District, in which most arrests are concentrated around Logan Circle. D.C. police say prostitution has fanned out in recent years, with activity increasing in residential areas, particularly in neighborhoods of Northeast Washington and along the Prince George's County border. Sexual solicitation arrests are second highest in the 6th Police District, primarily along Eastern Avenue.
