Water Relay Used to Fight Blaze

A fire in Adams Morgan exhausted nearby water resources and forced District firefighters to tap into hydrants served by a 20-inch water main about 2,000 feet away. The main closest to the burning condominium building did not provide enough pressure or volume to power three hoses.
