A report by U.S. soldiers has concluded that the Blackwater USA guards involved in a shooting incident in Baghdad on Sept. 16 were not provoked and that no enemy engaged them. The Iraqi government has said 17 civilians were killed. This schematic, based on a military diagram, shows that several of the cars had turned around and were fleeing the square when they were hit. It describes the scene as soldiers say they found it.
