Time to Talk Fares -- Metrorail

Metro officials are considering a bevy of fare increases that they say are needed to close a $109 million budget shortfall. Subway riders would pay more ¿ in some cases, much more ¿ as would cash-paying bus riders. The price to park at Metro lots would also go up. But it's not a done deal; Metro board members can reduce the proposed increases. This is the week they want to hear what you have to say.
