Increasing Pollutants Threaten Progress

Scientists studying the Chesapeake Bay have found a disturbing pattern in their measurements of the pollution headed downstream in bay tributaries. In some cases, the amount of certain pollutants has begun increasing in the past few years - threatening to undo decades of halting progress.
