We again tested two different routes to the same place in an effort to answer the question on every commuter's mind: Which way is faster? But in response to your suggestions, we compared travel methods as well as travel routes. On a cloudy and cool Wednesday morning, it was a battle of roads vs. rails. We started outside Twinbrook Metro station in Montgomery County and made our way to Court House Station in Arlington County. The drive included Rockville Pike, Interstate 270, the Capital Beltway and the George Washington Memorial Parkway. The train trip was aboard the Red and Orange lines. If there's another route you'd like us to test, send an e-mail to email@example.com.
