Metro Center Platform Work to Start
Red, Orange and Blue Metrorail lines at Metro Center will be affected by single tracking to allow Red Line platforms to undergo structural rehabilitation. A recent evaluation of the station showed deterioration, minor cracking of structural concrete and sagging of platforms. Work will begin at 10 p.m. tomorrow and continue through midnight Monday.
