Metro to Improve Bus Service

Metro is planning to improve bus service on its most popular line, known as the 30s line. More than 20,000 passengers a day ride the line, the major east-west route in the District, which runs roughly 14 miles, primarily along Wisconsin and Pennsylvania avenues. Metro officials hope to improve service by replacing some routes with express buses and neighborhood connections.
