Donor Choice

The way choices are presented to people has a powerful effect on their decisions, even in realms involving life and death. In Austria, where people are presumed to be organ donors unless they explicitly choose otherwise, many more people "consent" to donate their organs after death compared with Germany, where people are presumed not to be organ donors unless they explicitly choose otherwise.
