Assertions of Drugging

Since 2002, more than two dozen former detainees in the war on terrorism have said that they were forcibly drugged by their U.S. captors. The Pentagon and CIA deny that drugs were used to coerce confessions, but the allegations are getting fresh attention after the disclosure of a 2003 Justice Department memo that specifically condoned drug use on terrorism suspects.
