Injecting Haldol
Since 2003, the federal government has sedated nearly 500 immigration detainees during their deportations -- more than half of them for behavioral rather than psychiatric reasons, according to records obtained by The Washington Post. In fiscal 2007, The Post found, 53 deportees who were not mentally ill were drugged, 50 with the potent antipsychotic drug Haldol. Here are the dates of their trips and how much each got.
