The sparring between Barack Obama and John McCain over managing the military has reached a fever pitch, but a new Washington Post-ABC News poll suggests that neither McCain's edge as commander in chief nor a prevailing opinion on the war favorable to Obama's viewpoint is enough to deliver a knockout blow.
