Off-Coast Exploration

The U.S. Minerals Management Service last year proposed opening a section of the Atlantic Ocean off Virginia to drilling for oil and gas. If the ban on offshore drilling is lifted, this could be one of the first places in the mid-Atlantic that energy companies explore.
