A Bridge to Far?

In almost every speech she has given since being selected as Sen. John McCain's running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has said she told Congress, "Thanks but no thanks for that Bridge to Nowhere." But as a candidate for governor, Palin supported the bridge. And while it is true that she officially ended the project, she did so after it was clear that Congress was no longer going to fund it and after spending the more than $200 million originally set aside for the bridge on other transportation projects.
