A Look at the Wildcat

In the Dolphins' "Wildcat" formation, there are no wide receivers on the field and the quarterback lines up outside, where a wide receiver usually would be. The center snaps the ball directly to one of three running backs on the field, nearly always Ronnie Brown. The Dolphins have used the Wildcat in at least one of these forms against their past three opponents, New England, San Diego and Houston.
