Several Virginia freshman Democrats who were helped by President ObamaÕs coattails into office last year face significant competition next year, as might another Democratic incumbent, largely because of the drastically changed mood. A look at how these Democrats and Obama did last year, compared with how Republican Gov.-elect Robert F. McDonnell did in those same districts this year. In addition, DNC Chairman and Virginia Gov. Timothy M. Kaine has said that one Republican in Virginia, J. Randy Forbes of the 4th District, is vulnerable.
