The Tysons plan

The new Tysons Corner will be divided into eight districts with different characteristics. Fairfax County hopes the area will become an urban center with increased jobs and more residents. A new network of public parks, paths and gridded streets will be designed to ease traffic congestion and encourage walking and cycling. Four principal districts are focused around the new Metro stations:
