Armed with nets and GPS devices and assisted by spotters in the air, rescue teams patrol gulf waters and shorelines looking for turtles, birds and other creatures caught in oil from the BP spill. The rescue is organized into two main teams of wildlife experts who work long days on the water -- with assistance from others on land -- hoping to save as many animals as they can:
