Surgeons at University Medical Center in Tucson said the bullet that struck Rep. Gabrielle Giffords took a "high" trajectory through the left hemisphere of her brain. In an earlier version of this graphic, including in Jan. 11, 2011 editions of the Post, doctors said the bullet entered through the back of Giffords' skull. They now think it may have entered through the forehead. This version has been updated.
