From mid-June through January, Sulaimon Brown made or received 80 phone calls from Lorraine Green, chairman of Vincent C. Gray's mayoral campaign and transition team. In that same period, Brown made 46 calls, most one minute or less, to Gray's personal cellphone. Gray, Green and campaign consultant Howard Brooks deny Brown's allegations that the Gray campaign paid him to bash then-Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and that he was promised a job with the Gray administration.
