John Wall: Washington Wizards No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft

On June 24, the Washington Wizards selected 19-year-old John Wall as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft. The Wizards won the NBA draft lottery despite having just a 10.3 percent chance of doing so. Wall, a 6-foot-4 point guard, entered the draft after a freshman season at the University of Kentucky in which he averaged 16.6 points, 6.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game.
