RICHMOND -- Family members of sniper John Allen Muhammad on Wednesday said they will take his remains to the family's home town of Baton Rouge for a funeral. They were in Richmond on Wednesday morning, where Muhammad's body had been taken to Virginia's medical examiner Tuesday night.


JARRATT, Va. -- John Allen Muhammad, the sniper who kept the Washington region paralyzed by fear for three weeks as he and a young accomplice gunned down people at random, was executed Tuesday night by lethal injection.
