Tunnels

Tom Pittman, a Border Patrol supervisor, surveys the tunnel that sits below the international border between Nogales, Mexico, and Nogales, Ariz. The drainage tunnels are starting points for drug smugglers, who then dig smaller tunnels off the main channel. The area where the sun shines through is Mexico. The large gate stops people from going further in the United States. Pittman is a member of the tunnel team on the Border Patrol, whose task it is to find the newly dug tunnels.
