Are 11 teams eight too many?:  At the top of this poll is Georgetown, which is in the process of playing four top-10 teams in six days. At the bottom of this poll is George Washington, which is 1-4 in the Atlantic 10. We need to institute relegation, obviously. Next year we're only ranking three teams. National recognition for Cavs:  For the 847th week in a row, this poll contained little drama. Old Dominion moved up from No. 5 to No. 3. As for national hopes and dreams, Georgetown is still the only ranked team, at 12th in the AP and 14th in the coaches' polls. Virginia, William & Mary and Old Dominion are receiving votes in both polls. National pollsters are much higher on the Cavaliers than are locals. I'll side with my crew (Post, January 19, 2010)
