Ho-Holiday Playtime

Friday, November 30, 2007; Page WE27

Whether your holiday spirit goes more toward "ho-ho-ho" or "fa-la-la-la-la" or "glo-ororororor-ri-a," yo u're bound to find something to do on these eight pages to make your senses sing and your mood merry.

Although no one could do all of the holiday events listed here -- if you do, we're sure the Guinness World Records folks would love to hear from you -- we hope the selection will give you ideas for doing something that will create a memory for you and your significant others. Because money is an issue for many of us this time of year, we've highlighted events that are free.

We encourage you to keep this section handy for the moment when you say, "Gee, what light display (or 'Nutcracker' or Hanukkah festival) should we go to?" But never fear, all the events can be found online at http://www.washingtonpost.com/holiday.

Whatever holiday you celebrate this season, we hope that you find yourself surrounded by the warmth of friends and family and all that makes you happy.
