When Jonelle St. John and Steve Zielenski bought Stonyhurst, a farm with an 1830 stone house sitting on a handsome rise in Middleburg, they were thinking about Christmas in the country. Snowball fights, runs with their dogs and a roaring fire were the vision.

Jonelle St. John, Steve Zielenski, their son, Paul, and their Weimaraner enjoy the day at their Middleburg farm. When they bought the property, the main house was in shambles. They hired D.C. architect Donald Lococo to make it livable and beautiful.
