The transit authority's decision to begin searching people has angered, frightened and confused many travelers.
Dear Dr. Gridlock:
The Metro bag searches set the wrong atmosphere for the land of the free.
How long will America remain a free country with our privacy being removed by these searches? . . . At what point will America be a complete surveillance state?
