We apologize for the slight delay in posting our playlist. As we all learned from reading "High Fidelity," building a proper mix tape requires a little time.

After consulting your suggestions and putting our own heads together, we have built Liz and Jen's 'Lost' iMix Tape in iTunes, where all or portions of the playlist can be downloaded for your listening pleasure.

We focused largely on songs that have been featured on the show (thanks, as always, to Lostpedia for helping to refresh our memories). But we also tossed in a few tracks whose lyrics and spirit remind us of "Lost" (see "Monster" by the Automatic and "Into the Ocean" by Blue October). Some of your reader suggestions -- CCR's "Run Through the Jungle," Michael Jackson's "Ben" -- also made the cut.

You can find the whole thing below, so click, listen, enjoy and feel free to post feedback in the comments section. Also, don't forget to join us on Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. for our next "Lost" Book Club discussion, which will feature a very special guest. Intrigued now, aren't you?

Posted Nov. 6, 2008:

If we had our way we would spend all of our waking hours watching episodes of "Lost." But that's not feasible (and would probably fry our eyeballs), so we've come up with another solution: Creating a "Lost" iMix in iTunes.

The idea is to create a playlist that allows all of us fans to connect with "Lost" through music. You know, so we have something to listen to while we're scanning various blogs for tidbits about the smoke monster, or waiting for that dang Dharma Initiative testing to pay off. But we need your help.

Which "greatest hits" are must-haves for a "Lost" soundtrack? Add a comment to this article and let us know which songs you'd like to see included. The only rules: The tracks must be related to "Lost" in some way. All must be available on iTunes. And, if possible, none of them should have been featured on Bernard's "Best of Phil Collins" mix tape.

We will peruse the suggestions, put our heads together and create "Liz and Jen's 'Lost' iMix Tape" on iTunes, which all members of the "Lost" fan community, or anyone else for that matter, should feel free to download and share.
