Gates, Petraeus joke about launching attack on Libya

General David Petraeus greeted Secretary of Defense Robert Gates at Kabul Airport Monday. Press traveling with Gates on this surprise visit to Afghanistan picked up a joke about launching an attack on Libya. Referencing the plane Gates flew in on, according to pool reports, Petraeus asked, "You gonna launch some attacks on Libya or something?" Gates replied, "Yeah, exactly." (March 7) (CBS News)
