Bush Denies Troop Control to Karzai

President Bush said Monday that American troops in Afghanistan will remain under U.S. control despite the request of Afghan President Hamid Karzai for more authority over them. At the White House press conference, Karzai said that Afghan public opinion regarding the United States did not sway after reports of prisoner abuse by U.S. interrogators.
