Parents rush to pick their kids up early from school after a car bomb adjacent to the school killed Samir Kassir in the residential neighborhood of Achrafiyeh in Beirut. A founding member of the Democratic Left movement, Kassir actively supported the protests against Syrian involvement in Lebanon.
