Minutemen Draw Counter-Demonstrators

The Minutemen, a group opposed to illegal immigration and known for staging civilian patrols along the U.S.-Mexico border, gathered in Upper Senate Park near the Capitol Friday to bring attention to immigration bills being debated in Congress. Police stood between the Minutemen and a group of counter- demonstrators that chanted slogans and voiced opposition to the Minutemen.
