| About 30 million of Mexico's 71.4 million voters are between 18 and 34. Mexico's version of Rock the Vote, known in Spanish as "Tu Rock Es Votar," is targeting these voters, encouraging them to participate in the upcoming July 2 presidential election. Inspired by Rock the Vote in the United States, organizers sponsored concerts and aggressive ads featuring Mexican rock and pop stars. The efforts are designed to increase voter participation and promote a healthy democracy in Mexico. MTV Latin America and non-profit organizations are part of the effort.
