'Deeparture' Within Ourselves

In "Deeparture," a 2005 silent video work by European artist Mircea Cantor, two wild animals circle an empty gallery space. Viewers of this conceptual film are tempted to interpret the animals' subtle gestures as evidence of specific motivations and emotions. Copyright Mircea Cantor.
