The creation of Arena Stage

Construction on the new Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater nears completion at Maine Avenue and Sixth Street SW. Work began on the 200,000-square-foot facility in January 2008, and Arena plans to hold its 2010-11 season in the new space. (Arena Stage)
