NTSB animation reconstructs 2009 Metro Red Line crash

From the NTSB: This narrated animation displays the sequence of operation of Metro trains 112 and 214, before they collided near the Ft. Totten Metro Station on June 22, 2009. The animation begins as Train 112 leaves the Takoma Park Station, about two and a half minutes before the accident. (NTSB)
