Davies Sees Global Bank Capital Requirements Rising: Video

Sept. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Howard Davies, chairman of the London School of Economics, talks about bank capital rules agreed to by regulators yesterday in Basel, Switzerland. The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision will require lenders to have common equity equal to at least 7 percent of assets, weighted according to their risk, including a 2.5 percent buffer to withstand future stress. Davies speaks on Bloomberg Television's "In the Loop With Betty Liu." (Source: Bloomberg) (Bloomberg)
