Durbin Says More Disclosure Needed on Credit Card Fees

Dec. 17 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Senator Richard Durbin, an Illinois Democrat, discusses proposed rules by the Federal Reserve that could cut debit-card transaction fees by 90 percent. Durbin, speaking with Peter Cook in Washington on Bloomberg Television's "InBusiness," also discusses Congress's decision to pass an $858 billion bill that extends for two years all the Bush-era tax cuts.
