Questions Linger on Moussaoui's Role in 9/11 Zacarias Moussaoui may be the first defendant convicted in U.S. courts in connection with the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, but his guilty plea yesterday did little to answer the biggest remaining riddle in the case: Was Moussaoui supposed to be one of the hijackers that day?
FBI to Fire Dissident Agent The FBI has moved to fire a veteran agent who alleged that the bureau had mishandled domestic investigations of the Islamic Resistance Movement, also known as Hamas, the Palestinian group designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. government.
