National Book Festival

On Saturday, Sept. 24, the Library of Congress hosts its 5th annual National Book Festival. Held on the National Mall, between Seventh and 14th streets, the festival features readings and signings from more than 80 acclaimed authors.

Free and open to the public, the National Book Festival includes pavilions devoted to "Fiction & Fantasy," "Mysteries & Thrillers," "History & Biography," "Children," "Teens & Children," "Poetry," and "Home & Family." Favorite children's book characters will also be on hand to celebrate the joys of reading. Details on the Festival
